Doctor of Ministry Program
The Doctor of Ministry program offers an advanced-level curriculum combining the experiences of ministry with the academic resources of the seminary.
Wesley's Doctor of Ministry Program enables pastors to develop an integrated theology of ministry that embraces the total life and mission of the church. The program goals include:
- Acquainting students with current theological trends and issues
- Deepening the integration of discipline and ministry, and
- Providing students with opportunities for establishing lasting collegial ties with other students.

As churches and their leaders adjust to the "new normal" of online worship created by the pandemic, refine ministerial skills and engage with theological reflections from innovative leaders seeking to “lean in” to this transformation and embrace digital ministries.
New track beginning May 2022
This Doctor of Ministry track will prepare participants to lead their congregations or ministry settings in a way that is grounded in the Wesleyan/Methodist tradition and, from that foundation, creatively engages with a globalized and interconnected world. Learn more.
