D.Min. in Cambridge

Track E: For the Sake of the World: Church Transformation in Wesleyan Perspective

This track takes place in Cambridge, England with our partners at Wesley House.   
Please contact the  Admissions Office   if you are interested in the Track E in Cambridge beginning June 2021. 
Wesley Theological Seminary developed this Doctor of Ministry track concept for active clergy from across the globe who are seeking to enhance their leadership skills and practices. Each cohort will be international in character with colleagues and dialogue reflecting the global nature of today’s church.

The theme for this Doctor of Ministry track, "For the Sake of the World: Church Transformation in Wesleyan Perspective," recognizes that both the world and the church are facing dramatically changed realities in the present world. View or print the course schedule here.

Individual courses taught by a world-class faculty will include courses to challenge you:

  • Wesleyan Theology of Mission for the Twenty-first Century
  • Biblical Foundations for a theology of Mission
  • In Times Like These: Hope and the Power of Proclamation
  • Rethinking a Doctrine of Creation
  • Reflective Supervision for Transformative Ministries
  • John Wesley and the Poor (with field trips to Oxford and London)
  • How Doctrine Deepen Mission: What Wesley would want you to know
  • Reaching the Next Generation for the Church

If you are concerned for opening new futures for ministry and not just guarding a past church reality,  consider pursuing your Doctor of Ministry with Wesley in Cambridge, England.  

The faculty teaching these courses are among the best scholar-teachers available in the global church. Professors such as Dr. Veronice Miles, Associate Professor of Preaching, Wesley Theological Seminary and Dr. Willie Jennings, Associate Professor of Systematic Theology and Africana Studies, Yale Divinity School.

This track is unique because of its location at Wesley House, the historic Methodist study center in the heart of Cambridge University.

Tuition for this track will be billed by Wesley Theological Seminary each term and payable in U.S. dollars. Room and board will be payable to Wesley House and will be in pounds sterling.  Learn more about Wesley House.
