To the Wesley Theological Seminary Community and Constituents:

As The Rev. Dr. David McAllister-Wilson begins his 20th year as President of the seminary, he invites you to look at how Wesley has invested the resources of the donors in this 2021 Annual Report and to see short notes and quotes from current students and recent graduates.

In addition, President McAllister-Wilson draws the metaphor that together we are the stewards of a spring for a community, one which ultimately helps the human community flourish through people who think and act independently of the crowd on behalf of a different [Christian] way of life. Together we teach and nurture students in their seminary experience who will be transformational leaders.

We are grateful for the donors who have brought us safe this far and enable us to look forward to a challenging future with confidence.

Support Wesley Theological Seminary

Located in Washington, Wesley Theological Seminary, D.C., is one of the largest and most diverse seminaries in the world. Since 1882, we have prepared persons for Christian ministry, fostered theological scholarship, and provided leadership on issues facing the church and the world. The members of just one of our graduating classes will minister to more than half a million people across the globe. The combination of our size, theological position, the diversity of our programs, international reach, and location in the heart of D.C., puts our seminary in a unique position to shape the church for the next generation.

Wesley Theological Seminary fosters the application of the texts and beliefs of faith through multiple degree programs and in-depth clergy and lay resources. We are able to accomplish this important work thanks to the many donors who generously support Wesley Theological Seminary. The individuals and congregations who provide faithful gifts make it possible to operate one of the world's leading theological schools and equip hundreds of church and ministry leaders every year.
