Upcoming Immersions

Pine Ridge Reconciliation Center Immersion (January 2023) Estimated Cost $625 Expand

Faculty: Rev. Dr. Nick Works

Description:

The ministry of the Pine Ridge Reconciliation Center is to foster mutual trust, respect and understanding while addressing the poverty that exists on the reservation. This J-term course seeks to offer a cross-cultural opportunity for seminary students that will shed light on the role the Christian Church has played in the development of our shared story with the Lakota people both for harm and for healing. This will help students to explore their calling in ministry in this age of racial and spiritual reckoning.  The Plan is for this to be an in-person travel immersion (Not a virtual immersion).
