Summer Term
The Summer 2023 semester runs from May 22-August 12, 2023. Registration opens March 13, 2023. The full summer 2023 course schedule will be available here one week prior to the registration start date.
Courses may be taken for academic credit, continuing education units, or audit. (*Late registration: Instructor permission required for registrations submitted less than two weeks prior to the start of a course)
GENERAL SUMMER COURSE INFORMATION
Summer courses begin in May and run through August. Most summer courses meet for one-week or two-week intensive courses.
Students are not required to take courses during the summer term.
Registration for summer opens in mid-March. The first two weeks of Registration are "limited enrollment," which means students must add themselves to the wait-list for any classes designated as limited enrollment.
Registration for each summer class closes two weeks prior to the start of that class. Some summer courses have pre-course assignments due on the first day of class. Drops between two weeks before class starts and the first day of class will result in a $100 late drop fee.
Drops after the first day of a given summer class will result in the assessment of full tuition and may result in a failing grade for the course.
