Blackboard Ultra Phased Plan
In December 2021, we updated Blackboard to Ultra Based Navigation. Now we are ready for the next phase where we will have Ultra based courses.
What does this mean? It means a cleaner layout that is more intuitive and easier to use for instructors and students. But this will be a big big change that will take a little getting used to.

Blackboard Learn Ultra delivers a modern, intuitive, fully responsive interface. Learn Ultra better engages students, eases the burden on educators, and clears the path to success using some of the following:
- Easier-to-use tools and workflows help instructors and students stay organized and better engage with content and each other.
- Ultra has a responsive design, making it more mobile friendly
- Accessibility is better built into Ultra, making it easier to use with more assistive technology
