Program Information Expand

Weekend Course of Study in Washington, DC is divided up into four sessions; Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring.  The Summer and Winter sessions are offered as hybrid courses, half on-line and half in the classroom.  The hybrid courses require only one trip to Washington, DC rather than two for Fall and Spring.

Generally, Wesley Theological Seminary offers four courses each session with all twenty course rotating through a fifteen month cycle.  Students should expect to complete the Course of Study curriculum in five years taking four courses annually.  Student may attend both the Weekend program and the July program; however the GBHEM restricts both fulltime and part-time local pastors to four courses per year so that they are also able to attend to the needs of their congregations.
