Wesley Innovation Hub Timeline
Teams of at least four individuals from each congregation will commit approximately 4-6 hours per month for learning, planning, and experimenting in the Innovation Hub. Throughout the first year, a basic curriculum will be provided with short podcasts and activities. Each congregation’s Young Adult Innovation Team will meet regularly to discuss and plan, and a Wesley researcher will conduct at least two onsite visits. In addition, the following timelines will be in effect:
- August 2017 - Select master congregations
- September 22-23, 2017 - Orientation dinner, Taste & See Event and first cohort gathering
- November 14, 2018- Hub video conference (evening) to discuss learnings, progress, and next steps
- March 2018 - Start-up Clinic
- April 15, 2018 - Submit congregational grant proposals (up to $20,000)
- April 28, 2018 - Second cohort gathering and next steps
- May 1-Aug 1,2018- Application process for learning cohort
- August 20, 2018- Learning cohort selected (15 congregations)
- September 2018- First gathering of both cohorts (full Wesley Innovation Hub)
- May 2019- Final Master cohort meeting
- July 1, 2019 - Master cohort final report due
