Spring is here! That means the Wesley community garden is ready to be planted and we need gardeners! We have two options. The first is to adopt your own plot, which you alone (or in partnership with a friend) take care of and reap all the harvest of. You won’t be totally alone in that work though, because part of being part of a community garden is being a part of a supportive community that helps keep watch over, help water, and provide advice to each other. However, if you feel like you don’t have the time, knowledge, or money to invest in your own plot you can provide help with the community plots in exchange for a voice in the operations of the garden and a share of the community harvest. Any member of the Wesley community, including students, staff, faculty, and even immediate family members of Wesley students, are welcome to participate. If you want to reserve a plot or want to know more, email Daniel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
