A special discussion with Journey Films founder and award-winning documentarian Martin Doblmeier will take place Tuesday, January 8, 2019, 1-4 p.m. in Elderdice. A special ‘sneak peek’ at his soon-to-be-released documentary, “Backs Against The Wall: The Howard Thurman Story” (to be broadcast on PBS in March 2019) and clips from “Bonhoeffer” and other Doblmeier films will be shown. Everyone is invited – free of charge.

Martin Doblmeier has produced and directed more than 30 films focused on religion, faith and spirituality, including “Bonhoeffer,” “An American Conscience: The Reinhold Niebuhr Story” and the soon-to-be-released “Backs Against The Wall: The Howard Thurman Story” (a special premiere co-presented by Wesley will take place in February before its broadcast on PBS in March).
