Exhibition runs from January 22 to March 10, 2019
Reception and Heart the Arts Festival:  Tuesday, February 12, 4:30 – 6:30 pm

Washington, D.C., January 22, 2019 – The Dadian Gallery in the Henry Luce III Center for the Arts and Religion at Wesley Theological Seminary announces the exhibition The Seminary Celebrates, on view from January 22 to March 10, 2019.

The Seminary Celebrates showcases artwork by staff, faculty and students. Visual and literary submissions fill the Dadian Gallery, while performing arts are on display during the Heart the Arts Festival. This biennial exhibition honors Constance Sherridan Hefner, daughter of Jean and Tom Hefner.

The exhibition and Heart the Arts Festival and reception are free and open to the public. The gallery is located at 4500 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., in the Kresge Academic Building on the campus of Wesley Theological Seminary. Regular hours are Monday-Thursday, 10:00 am – 6:30 pm, Friday 10:00 am – 4:30 pm, and the second Saturday of the month from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. The gallery is otherwise closed weekends and holidays.

The Dadian Gallery is a program of The Henry Luce III Center for the Arts and Religion, which sponsors a variety of cultural events to explore the intersection of art and religion and promote dialogue between artists and theologians.
