Institute for Community Engagement (ICE)

ICE is located in the heart of downtown Washington, DC on the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and 9th Street Northwest at 900 Massachusetts Avenue NW (on the basement level of Mount Vernon Place UMC).

This educational center is across the street from the DC Marriott Marquis hotel, steps from the the Convention Center, and blocks from the National Mall, the Smithsonian, the Verizon Center, and Chinatown is easily accessible by metro via the Metro Center, Mt. The closest metro stations are Mt. Vernon Square-Convention Center (yellow/green lines) and Gallery Place-Chinatown (red line).  Enter the building from the Massachusetts Ave. Entrance.

Parking Garages:

Limited parking may be found along Massachusetts Avenue and K Streets depending upon the day and time. Depending on events in and around our building, parking may also be available beneath Wesley Downtown in the LAZ Parking Garage off 10th Street. The LAZ parking garage at 900 Massachusetts Avenue NW (Mount Vernon Place UMC) and adjoining office building can be accessed on the block of 10th Street between Mass Avenue and K Street. There is a parking rate of $11 per hour or $19 for the entire day. Wesley is unable to secure free spaces for classes, visits, and events during the day at this garage.   

Metered Parking:

Metered parking is available in limited quantity around the immediate vicinity with most meters having a one-hour or two-hour limit.
