Health Minister Certificate - 20 contact hours
Health ministers are healthcare professionals, faith community members, barbers, stay at home parents, lawyers, accountants, and others. They can serve in many roles as health navigators, wellness coaches, outreach workers, health educators, and health ambassadors, promoters de salud, and health promoters. Health ministers are often part of a health and wellness ministry/team. They can work with faith community nurses to organize, plan, and evaluate health ministry activities.

Fall 2015 Health Minister Certificate
September 25 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
September 26 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
October 9 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
October 10 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Participants Must Attend All Sessions for Certificate Completion

$400 per person
$350 per person for two or more attendees from the same faith community
*Scholarships available (all applicants must submit a $25 application fee and sign the health minister pledge)
