Assistant Professor in New Testament

In the broad spectrum of New Testament studies, Carla’s research interests include Pauline studies, the New Testament’s use of the Old, biblical ethics, Hellenistic Judaism, sociological studies, and theological interpretation. A minister’s wife, Carla is an active member of the church and enjoys teaching adult Bible studies and hosting youth gatherings. Her hobbies include gardening, hiking, and playing Wii with her son Jonathan.
