We started in June with the online service that students now use to register for classes, look up grades and pay their tuition. The library introduced a new online catalog system this past week and our accounting systems were also upgraded. The server that had been running non-stop for over six years was replaced. Now, our Wesley alumni and friends are the latest recipients of all our summer effort.
Starting next month, Wesley will begin to roll out “Wesley Circle,” a new online profile management tool that will allow our alumni and friends to update contact information, set email preferences and print giving receipts. The enhanced efficiency this system brings will enable us to be better stewards of Seminary resources, but it will also enable us to offer additional services as we launch new features.
Already, you can set up a monthly, recurring donation to Wesley. Many people find that setting aside a monthly, budgeted amount for a gift works better for them than a single large gift at the end of the year. In fact, for the cost of a cup of gourmet coffee a day, you could be giving at the Wesley Council level of $1,000 per year. Wesley relies on these sustaining gifts to provide scholarships to entering students who are answering God’s call.
Watch your inbox for an invitation to join Wesley Circle soon!
