Is God’s call on your life leading you toward ordained ministry, a ministry of teaching, or service in the church and the world? While all Christians are called to use their gifts and skills for God’s vision for the world (1 Peter 2:9), some are called to specific ministries and leadership in the church. Everyone experiences call differently, and sometimes it’s helpful to get a broad perspective and explore the many options in ministry. At Exploration 2011, you can join hundreds of United Methodist young adults from across the country to talk with seminary students and alumni in small groups, network with peers, worship, and attend lectures and workshops with the purpose of exploring your call to ministry.
Exploration also offers a ministry fair, where staff and students from seminaries like Wesley can answer your questions about theological education and help you prepare for your next steps toward a broad range of ministries.
Exploration 2011 will be held November 11-13 in St. Louis. The registration deadline for Exploration has been extended to October 19th so if you’re a United Methodist between the ages of 18 and 26 and you’d like to attend, register today!
