D.Min. Housing

The Office of Housing welcomes Doctor of Ministry candidates to campus housing for the January D.Min intensive terms (January 7-18, 2013)! We will begin accepting applications on October 20, 2012 and the application window will close on November 25, 2012.  Email confirmation of your housing assignment will be sent the week of December 3, 2012. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept late applications, except in the event of cancellation.  Students are encouraged to apply early because January term spots are extremely limited.

Students interested in applying for housing during the January intensive D.Min. terms should complete the application below. For all students staying during the January term, check-in will be Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 6-9pm.  For those students staying only during week two, check in will be Sunday, January 13, 2012 from 3-9pm. The check-out deadline is Saturday, January 19, 2013, 10:00am.

The rate for housing during the May D.Min term is $315/week for a Straughn double occupancy dormitory room, plus $10/week for one set of linen per week. Linen includes two flat bedsheets, and one each: pillow case, blanket, bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth. You may elect to bring your own linen instead of having the seminary provide linen for you.  During this term, we assign only one- or two-week accommodations.  We are unable to prorate if you check-in either late or early. Please note that there is a $50 cancellation fee for cancellations after the cancellation period (we will accept cancellations until December 12, 2012 at noon, EST without charging a fee). We will be unable to assign single rooms or apartments during the D.Min. term in January, except possibly in case of medical requirement.  If you have a medical reason why you would need a single room, you may be required to provide a letter from your physician.
