Academic Dean
Wesley Theological Seminary invites applications and nominations for the position of Academic Dean.
Wesley Theological Seminary is a graduate theological school of The United Methodist Church located in Washington, DC. It is one of the largest and most diverse seminaries in the world. During the academic year, more than 1,500 students attend classes at Wesley. Degree programs include Master of Divinity, Master of Arts, Master of Theological Studies and Doctor of Ministry. Almost 60 percent of the students are Methodist; the remaining 40 percent represent more than 25 different denominations. Forty-four percent of the students are African American, Hispanic, Asian or other ethnic minority. Wesley's faculty includes 30 full-time faculty members and 25 adjunct faculty members.
The Dean is the Chief Academic Officer and responsible directly to the President. The Dean's responsibilities include policy, program, personnel development and fiscal management for the faculty and academic programs. The Dean is expected to provide vision and leadership in strategic planning and promote excellence in teaching and scholarship.
The best candidates for the position will possess an earned doctorate in a field of theological education and have a distinguished record of graduate teaching, scholarship, and active participation in the life of the church. Vice President for Development
Wesley Theological Seminary seeks candidates for the role of Vice President for Development. This position is responsible for the planning and general oversight of the development program at Wesley Theological Seminary, a graduate theological school of The United Methodist Church located in Washington, DC. The Vice President for Development is considered the senior development officer at Wesley and reports to the President. The VP for Development represents the Seminary in local churches, to small groups, and individuals through both mail and face to face appeals. The Vice President for Development is expected to spend a majority of time in major gift cultivation and solicitation and works directly with the President to coordinate his work in development. The Vice President for Development is a key part of the senior administrative team seeing to implement Wesley's strategic vision.

Director, Henry Luce III Center for the Arts and Religion
Wesley Theological Seminary seeks a Director for it distinguished Henry Luce III Center for the Arts and Religion. The Center seeks to promote, understand, and expand the interface between the artistic and the religious imagination. Its programs include course work in the visual and performing arts, integration of the arts into the Seminary's overall curriculum, the Dadian Gallery, an artists-in-residence program, an art studio, special events for the community, and outreach to promote the arts in the ministries of constituent churches. Legislative Internship at the Episcopal Church Office of Government Relations
The Episcopal Church Office of Government Relations is pleased to offer legislative internships to volunteers, students, seminarians, bishops, laity and Anglican partners. Internships are open to college age students ideally in their junior or senior year for the spring, fall and summer semesters. While it is preferred that applicants be Episcopalian, it is not required.
Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with our grassroots coordinator and policy analysts, provide administrative support, contribute to policy research, work with ecumenical and secular coalitions, and attend Congressional committee hearings. The internship experience will provide interns with a general understanding of Congressional procedure as well as how staff and members of the Episcopal Public Policy Network effectively advocate the positions of the General Convention and Executive Council of the Episcopal Church. Grassroots and Church Outreach Part-Time Coordinator at Churches for Middle East Peace
Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP) is currently seeking a part-time Grassroots and Church Outreach Coordinator. Formed in 1984, CMEP is a coalition of 22 Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant church bodies. CMEP works in support of U.S. policies that are conducive to a two-state resolution of the Israeli-Arab conflict and the sharing of Jerusalem by the two peoples and three faiths. CMEP engages directly with Congress and the Administration and provides educational materials and advocacy guidance to individuals and congregations across the country, through its email action network, annual advocacy conference and grassroots advocacy project coordinators in key states. The Florida Conference is a regional unit of The United Methodist Church and is comprised of over 700 local churches. This progressive religious organization is seeking a Director of African American Congregational Development.

The Musician/music coordinator is responsible for providing music and musical leadership for the CrossWalk service on Sunday evenings during the fall and spring semesters.
