The Kay Spiritual Life Center has been an integral part of the American University campus since its dedication in 1965 and has served as a place where the entire community could, regardless of faith, gather for worship, fellowship, meditation, prayer and the exchange of ideas. Kaye Spiritual Center hosts many events throughout the year for the seminary and is also gracious to invite seminarians and staff to their full docket of activities.
Originally erected to be the representational presence of the United Methodist Church in the nation's captial, MMUMC is directly adjacent to American University's campus and often plays host to seminary related events.
The Katzen Arts Center brings all the visual and performing arts programs at AU into one 130,000 square foot space. Designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration in the arts, the new center provides state-of-the-art instructional, exhibition, and performance space for all the arts disciplines. The Katzen Arts Center is often employed as a venue for the Luce Center's discussions in Religion and the Arts.

A group of 45 churches, the Downtown Cluster is a non-profit, ecumenical association founded in 1972 for the purpose of cooperatively meeting pressing human service needs in the District of Columbia.
Martha's Table is a non-profit, not too far from our Mount Vernon Square location who works with Wesley's urban fellows and other student and faculty groups. Their mission is to help at-risk children, youth, families and individuals in our community improve their lives by providing educational programs, food, clothing, and enrichment opportunities.
