What housing options are available to me?
Wesley Theological Seminary has a wide array of housing options ranging from commuter dorm housing for students staying a few nights per week to apartment style housing for those students who are bringing their family. For detailed information that can help you decide which housing is right for you, please visit the housing webpage.
How do I apply for housing?
Please apply as early as possible for housing. There is no guarantee that you will obtain a housing assignment, as assignments are given on a first-come first-served basis and on-campus housing is extremely limited.
Am I required to participate in the meal plan?
If you live in dorm housing, yes you are required to participate in the dining hall meal plan. If you live in an apartment, the meal plan is optional and you may request to have meals included. For more information, please visit the dining hall web page.
How do I register for classes?
All registration is processed on line through a website called WesleyWeb. Registration for NCSS students begins on December 1. WesleyWeb is available for registration through the end of the first full week of the semester (January 30). After January 30, any registration changes must be made in writing on a Registration Form available in the Registrar's Office.
What classes are required?
You must register for ES-491 National Capital Semester for Seminarians Action/Reflection Seminar. This is the main course for the NCSS program which involves site visits on Monday afternoons and a classroom seminar on Wednesday mornings. Other optional courses related to the NCSS program are ES-495 National Capital Semester for Seminarians Research Project and ES-497 National Capital Semester for Seminarians Internship. Contact Dr. Shaun Casey if you plan to participate in either of these courses. You may fill in your schedule as much or as little as you wish with additional courses from the enclosed course schedule.
