Nights Needed

All Commuter Resident living is in Straughn Dormitory. No commuter housing is available in Carroll Apartments. The Commuter Resident contract is for a 14 week semester - Reading Week and holiday breaks are not included in the semester price. Arrangements must be made with the Office of Housing to reserve your room during these times.

Commuter contracts allow you to move into your room after noon on the first day of your requested nights and require that you have vaccated your room by noon following the last night of your requested nights.  Staying beyond this will violate your Commuter Housing Contract.  Please plan accordingly.

Roommate Preference  *

Please give carefull consideration to your roommate prefrence. It will be very difficult to shift you once the semester begins. Singles are not garaunteed and are highly unlikely. This is also true of singles that you may have had in previous semesters. The housing office gives great effort to trying to meet eveyone's needs, but we are limited in space.

Special Needs and Concerns
Please be sure to include information about health conditions that may prevent you from climbing stairs ro require you to be near a bathroom.

Applications will be honored on a first come, first served basis. All applications are a reservation for space. It is your responsibility to cancel the application and/or contract if applicable. If approved for housing, you will be issued a contract for your signature, and charges will be applied to your student account. By submitting this application, you agree to the terms laid out in the Residential Life section of the Student Handbook, available on line.
