In addition to being CCTPP’s executive director, Barbara Green is also a lecturer in Theology and Public Policy. Prior to joining the faculty of Wesley Theological Seminary, she served as a policy advocate in the Washington Office of the Presbyterian Church (1983-1998) and as a National Council of Churches liaison to the East German Federation of Protestant Churches, based in Berlin (1977-1982). She is particularly interested in ethics and public policy and specializes in the theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Her current projects include research in the Muslim-Christian Initiative on Nuclear Weapons Danger.
CCTPP’s programs involve nuclear disarmament, Muslim-Christian Initiative, and the environment and are available to students interested in engaging cutting-edge public policy issues in the light of Christian faith.
