Overview

Online courses provide students the option to meet academic goals while bringing flexibility to their daily schedule. Online courses are taught by Wesley faculty, and count for the same credit as face-to-face courses. Our growing list of online courses offer students the opportunity to study with Wesley regardless of their location. 

Imagine being able to participate in your courses anywhere you have internet access.  Wesley Theological Seminary’s online courses adhere to the same rigorous standards as those taught on campus, but our online courses offer the flexibility to do more than be a student.

Wesley maintains our commitment to equip the whole people of God for the work of ministry by using online courses.  We create global communities through technology and faith, preparing those called to leadership in the church. 

Online and Hybrid Courses

Online and hybrid courses follow the same semester schedule as Wesley face-to-face courses. Please see individual programs for more information.

• Students must have reliable Internet access to participate in on-line courses.  (highspeed internet is strongly recommended)
• Students must log in to their course during the first week of class and participate in the introduction assignment .
• Books should be purchased before the course begins. 

Some people think that online courses will be easier than face to face courses.  However, online and hybrid courses generally require more individual effort than face to face courses.  Distance education students need to manage their time and stay current with their readings, assignments, and communication with fellow classmates and the instructor.  Please take the online readiness quiz to see if online courses are right for you.
